The Land of Xa-ar a major sourcebook/adventure book set in NW Jaiman

Jerrin is King in Haalkitaine, and while he claims to be Emperor of all Jaiman, he is far away to the east and the Phoenix Crown holds no real power here. Xa-ar and Saralis are fractured lands, trying to recover from the last occupation by the Lord of Ulor.

But powers—both new and very ancient rising again—threaten the fragile peace over much of the region. Perhaps the greatest threat is an artifact from before recorded time, asleep but ready to be awakened…

Guild Adventurer #1 contains an original adventure I wrote, set in Emer, called Temple of the Three.

Guild Adventurer #2 contains an original Shadow World adventure I wrote called Rose Petals and Snow Lions. This adventure meshes with the Xa-ar module in Northwestern Jaiman.

Guild Adventurer #3 contains an original adventure I wrote called The Keeper of the Thorn, another set in NW Jaiman that can be integrated with Xa-ar.

There is a great forest in northwest Jaiman, and it is called Dír. Of all the non-desolate northern realms, it is the closest to the pole, and thus laid open to the Umli. Yet, Kadæna was of mind and allowed only a few: survivors of the war on the forest men. Four hundred came, forever to reside down under the wicked cloak of six and sixty shards.
And then there was Shar-Ti.

Cloudlords of Tanara Second Edition

A classic module of Shadow World, set in the east of the continent of Jaiman, and updated by Terry Amthor for play in both its original time era and the current Shadow World timeline.

The original Cloudlords of Tanara was set over three thousand years before the present time of 6056 in the Third Era. Some things are the same, but many things have changed. Groups dormant for ages have awakened again: The evil Cult of Ezran, the Priests Arnak, and even the Cloudlords themselves have returned from legend into stark reality. And the Elven-realm to the east, Urulan, long thought lost, has awakened again with a Queen wearing the ancient, magical Unicorn Crown. Turning back an invasion by the imperialist Rhakhaan Kingdom, she threatens the peace of Tanara, which now finds itself caught between two realms.

Eidolon Second Edition

Contains:

  1. The palace-city of Eidolon floats in the sky above the northern coast of the great continent of Emer, hovering arrogantly over the sprawling canal-city of Sel-kai below. It is also the haven and hub to legendary skyships: vessels which sail the winds.

Meanwhile, earthbound below, Sel-kai residents toil along the stinking canals, doing much of the work to support the elite residents of the sky-city.

Reviews of Eidolon 2nd Ed (from RPGNow)

I would presume that most people are familiar with the first edition. In case you are not: When Eidolon first appeared back in the day, it set a new standard for roleplaying supplements. To me, it is a classic – among the best products ever published by old ICE. This is a no brainer. It belongs in every gamemaster's bookshelf.

A few words about this edition: On first glimpse, it has lots of new color illustrations and a much bigger adventures section. The new art is gorgeous, many parts of the book seem to have been expanded and updated. So, even for previous owners the purchase is worthwhile.

excerpt) ... When I read these Shadow World books, I always get the sense that the writer knows an awful lot about earth sciences and civilizations. The people are believable, the cities are believable, the surroundings are believable, and the environment is believable. Regardless of the fantasy aspects, you can really picture yourself (or rather your PC) standing in the midst of this city with the hustle and bustle going on around you. It’s this picture that makes these books come alive. Adding to that is a great collection of maps to allow easy navigation throughout and aid the GM in connecting the fluff to the city’s design.

As for the book itself, being a second edition, it appears to offer a lot of value to those who have the first edition. You can clearly see the differences between first edition artwork being reused and new artwork added in (I found the first edition artwork to be rather meh), but otherwise the content flows quite nicely from beginning to end.
